Evangelia Thomadakis explores prints, embraces the bridal market and joins forces with the Ethical Fashion Forum

Since launching her own London label in 2009, Evangelia has been busy developing her collections which as she defines "let the shapes engage with fabrics and tell their own story". Evangelia’s collections to date have been based on classic garments designed to make a statement whatever the occasion. Harking back to her undergraduate years as a fashion student at the Surrey institute of Art and Design, Evangelia has reported that she will taking advantage of her Textiles background, creating a range of her own prints on jersey. This move into more casual-wear is a first for the pattern-cutting whizz and we’re excited to see the result. Not content on stopping there, Evangelia has also told us that she’s delving into the bridal market and is currently developing ideas and styles. Brides to be, take note! And there’s more from the Greek designer, it’s also been brought to our attention that Evangelia has been offered a Fellowship from the Ethical Fashion Forum, with the formal announcement taking place later this year. Congratulations Evangelia!

Greek designer, Evangelia Thomadakis is best known for her innovative pattern cutting; skills honed as a postgraduate student at Central Saint Martins and as a Pattern Cutter at Vivienne Westwood’s Gold Label.
